I have seen notices for several job fairs being held with increasing frequency. Because my husband recently passed away, I now have an entire man’s wardrobe that surely may benefit some of our Valley Veterans.

Items include: Casual shirts and slacks, “Polo” type shirts, sweaters, suits, sports jackets, outer wear, shoes.

I realize I could just as well donate to an organization such as Goodwill, but feel the impact made at a level of “dress for success” will be greater.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Hi there!

First and foremost, I want to start by thanking you for all you do for the community. Your work is truly life-changing. Because of your remarkable work, our non-profit organization is looking to give back to organizations like yours. I wanted to know if you would be interested in accepting a donation of comic books? While I wish we could do more, I know that at least for me, a good book can always be a nice way to end an extremely long day. I assure you that our books are high quality and we have no limit to how many we are willing to donate! If you are interested, please send me the address that works best for you and the quantity you’d like and I’ll ship them out immediately.

Again, I can’t thank you enough for the work that you do.

My name is Nicole Talerman and I work for HousingFirst Lab, a non-profit in Denver that seeks to unite resources, talent, and knowledge across sectors to end homelessness. We recently conducted a report using HUD data which showed that Las Vegas’ homeless population has been declining in recent years. Unfortunately, Denver is experiencing the opposite trend, where the homeless population is growing at 2x the rate of the overall population.

Given this, I would love to find time to connect and get your perspective on key improvements that Las Vegas has made recently to help those experiencing homelessness. Please let me know if you would be available to chat in the coming days / weeks and thank you in advance for your help!

    Thanks,

    Nicole

I received the following message from Amazon.com:

    Dear Bryan McBee:

You are receiving this email because the AmazonSmile charity you are supporting, Share Supportive Housing and Resources for the Elderly (EIN: 94-3209791), has not provided AmazonSmile with its bank account information and therefore we have been unable to issue AmazonSmile donations to this organization. We have also reached out to Share Supportive Housing and Resources for the Elderly (EIN: 94-3209791) to request registration completion to enable receipt of donations.

Since we have not successfully been able to issue the donations based on your previous AmazonSmile purchases, we have been holding these donations. Please select a different charity to support and Amazon will issue the donation amount generated as a result of your previous purchases to the new charity you select. If you do not select a different charitable organization to support in the next 30 days (by 05/08/21), we will reallocate the donation amount proportionately to other fully-registered AmazonSmile charities in the next quarterly donation disbursement cycle.

Remember, Amazon donates 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible items purchased at smile.amazon.com. For more information on the program, go to smile.amazon.com/about.

    Hello,

My name is Kyra Audino. I would like to introduce myself as the new Community Service director for UNLV Beta Alpha Psi, an honors organization of financial students and professionals. I am sure you already know us as we have volunteered with you in the past and know that part of our mission is to impact and support the communities in which we live through community service.

We would be interested in participating in small group services events to continue helping support our community during the Fall 2020 semester. I understand that we are in very strange times as COVID-19 has changed a lot of our daily lives and plans. With that being said, I would like to ask if there are still any planned events in the near future that we may donate our time and services while still complying with social distancing guidelines. I look forward to chatting and knowing more about your organization’s plans.

    Thank you so much!

    Kind regards,

My family has a number of people who have served our beautiful country. I have grown up watching the struggle our veterans have endured. As we enter into the holidays, this is the perfect time to show our love and appreciation to the ones who have risked their lives for the freedom of ours. Veterans Village is an organization that continues to support the honorable men and women who have sacrificed so much for us. Life Coach & Motivational Speaker http://www.jamiedelfierro.com/
